Website access and security

Our server and hosting provider process connection data such as IP address, time, requested address and browser information to operate the website, diagnose errors and prevent abuse (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The website and email are hosted on our VPS with SERVER4YOU. Technical logs are retained only as needed for operation, security or investigation of a specific incident. Fonts and photos are served locally. We have not embedded our own advertising or analytics services.

Orders and contact

We process the child’s first name, song language, optional christening date, relationship and pronunciation guidance, your gift details, email and billing information. Please do not provide unnecessary information about the child. We use this information for requested or purchased personalisation, communication and delivery (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). The child’s details are processed in our legitimate interests in fulfilling your gift request (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Billing data is also required for legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). Required information is necessary to place an order; optional fields are voluntary. Email enquiries are used to respond to you. Clicking a contact button does not itself send a message.

Payment and VAT validation

When using PayPal, the amount, product details and order reference are sent to PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg. PayPal processes payment and account details as an independent controller. We receive payment status and transaction references, not complete card details. Processing is necessary for payment (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Test mode processes test payments only. The PayPal connection loads at the payment step. A VAT ID you provide is sent to the EU VIES system; official company information is used for comparison, for correct invoicing and tax obligations. Without a VAT ID, no VIES request is made. Selecting Apple Pay or Google Pay additionally loads Apple’s or Google’s component, sharing technical connection data such as IP address and browser information with that service. The payment service processes card and wallet data; we do not store complete card numbers or wallet payment tokens. This serves the payment method you selected (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Apple’s or Google’s privacy notices also apply.

Sessions and private order page

The necessary tauflied_session cookie protects ordering against unauthorised access and lasts eight hours. Your private order link contains a secret access key. Share it only with people permitted to access your files. It is initially valid for 14 days from confirmed payment. Your browser retains access for use of the order page. A name recording may be reused from our separate production archive; billing addresses and email addresses are not shared with other buyers.

Audio preview on this website

The general song preview is served directly from our own web server and played in your browser. No Spotify, Apple or Google music service is embedded. Playback starts only when you press Play. Requesting the audio file involves the same necessary technical connection data as other website requests. The basis is our legitimate interest in providing the preview you requested (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Invoice records and retention

Issued invoices are transferred to DATEV eG, Germany, for accounting and to our protected local archive. Authorised people access them as necessary for fulfilment and accounting. Tax records are generally retained for seven years from the end of the relevant calendar year, longer where legally required or proceedings are ongoing. Other order and contact data is retained only as necessary for fulfilment, support or asserting or defending legal claims, then deleted or anonymised. Expiry of an order link does not mean legally required records are deleted.

Your rights

Subject to the GDPR, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to legitimate-interest processing. You may withdraw consent at any time for the future. Contact info@taufgeschenk-tauflied.com. You may complain to a supervisory authority, in particular the Austrian Data Protection Authority: https://dsb.gv.at . We do not make solely automated decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects. Future AI music production is not currently enabled; the data flows of any external production provider will be added before use.

Ordering & delivery

Provider and service

The first name you provide is sung in the chorus. MP3, WAV and a personal PDF certificate are included. No box, CD or other physical product is included.

Prices and optional extras

The base price is €159 including VAT. Standard delivery is within 72 hours. Delivery within 48 hours costs an additional €29; within 24 hours, an additional €59. Optional printable lyrics cost €19 extra; lyrics with sheet music / a lead sheet cost €39 extra, including VAT. There are no shipping costs, subscriptions or automatically selected extras. The full total is shown before payment.

Ordering and formation of the contract

Enter the name and song language, select delivery time and any extras, then add your gift and billing details. You can review everything and use Back to correct it. Before payment, you confirm the statements about early digital supply. Your final payment confirmation with PayPal places an order with an obligation to pay. The contract is formed on confirmed payment and our order confirmation. The contract language for an order on the English website is English. Your confirmation email contains the contractual information and your declarations. Please keep it.

Delivery and your private order page

Your selected 72, 48 or 24 hours start from confirmed payment and include weekends. All files are released together on your private order page at your selected delivery time. Your order confirmation contains its confidential link; no customer account is needed. A second email notifies you when everything is available. Download your invoice, MP3, WAV, certificate and booked extras there. If a file is missing or completion is delayed, the status remains visible; please contact us. Your statutory rights relating to late delivery remain unaffected. Suitable existing name recordings may be reused; the selected delivery time stays the same.

Files and use

MP3 and WAV work with standard audio software; PDFs can be opened and printed using a PDF reader. You need internet access and available storage. There is no copy protection or ongoing usage fee. The gift is intended for personal use and your christening celebration. Resale or other commercial exploitation is not included. Save the files on your device: the private page link is initially valid for 14 days from confirmed payment. If you need help later, contact us with your order reference.

Corrections and statutory rights

Please check names, pronunciation, email and billing details before paying. Report an error or technical defect to info@taufgeschenk-tauflied.com and we will discuss correction with you. Statutory rights for defective digital content apply and are not restricted by these terms. Changes to personalisation that was originally supplied correctly require a separate agreement.

Payment

Use a payment method available in the last order step. PayPal processes payment; PayPal, credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay availability depends on your device and activation. A confirmed live payment is a real charge. Your confirmation email then provides your private page link. A failed or pending payment confirmation is not a reason to pay again: please check the status with us first.

Cancellation policy

Right to cancel

As a consumer, you have the right to cancel this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The period expires fourteen days after the contract is concluded. To exercise this right, inform Patrick Schmiderer, Perfuchsberg 25a, 6500 Landeck, Austria, info@taufgeschenk-tauflied.com, telephone +43 5442 20802, of your decision by a clear statement. You may use the model form below, but it is not compulsory. You may also use “Cancel contract” on this website. It is sufficient to send your notice before the period expires.

Effects of cancellation

If you cancel, we will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after receiving your cancellation notice. We use the same payment method as the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise. We charge no reimbursement fee.

Early supply of digital content

Delivery within 24, 48 or 72 hours falls before the end of the cancellation period. Your right to cancel digital content expires early only when we have begun performance after you expressly consented to supply before the period ends and acknowledged that you thereby lose your cancellation right when performance begins, and we have confirmed that consent and acknowledgment to you on a durable medium. Payment alone or name personalisation does not replace these declarations. Your statutory rights for defective content remain unaffected.
